Audie Tarpley is an established presence in the Indianapolis, Indiana, commercial real estate development sphere, with nationwide experience. He has overseen high-profile mixed-use projects, including a 130,000-square-foot office building and a 200-unit apartment building with a 300-car garage. Audie Tarpley has also overseen the construction of corporate headquarters for companies such as Merchants Bank and Lids.
Mr. Tarpley began his career in the early 1990s with Minneapolis-based Duke Realty Investments. As the company’s preconstruction director for a half-dozen years, he was responsible for office, retail, and industrial projects spanning Northern Kentucky, Nashville, and Cincinnati. Mr. Tarpley managed budgeting, estimating, and design, leading to the successful openings of facilities such as Deerfield Crossing Office Park and Union Center Industrial Park.
Mr. Tarpley later accepted a role with Duke Realty as vice president of construction, overseeing the efforts of project and preconstruction managers across diverse projects. The two million square feet of space he helped create was consistently completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
